LeapV emerged from a simple belief, every professional (not just top executives) deserves structured, personalized career development. While many people want expert mentorship and clear guidance, the reality is that career-growth resources are scattered, overwhelming, and hard to manage alongside busy work lives. LeapV was built to close this gap and bring executive-level support to everyday professionals.

PROCESS & STRATEGY
Where We Started
After aligning with all stakeholders, we conducted a comparative analysis of existing mentorship platforms to understand established patterns, value loops, and proven engagement models. This helped us identify what already works (such as the match → connect → grow loop, accountability structures, and learning progression frameworks) while also revealing opportunities for differentiation. Our goal wasn’t to simply replicate existing solutions, but to build on what works and innovate where these platforms fall short.
To deepen our understanding, we also explored why people mentor and why mentees seek mentorship. These insights became our strategic lighthouse, especially for designing the mentee experience. By uncovering mentees’ motivations, personality traits, strengths, and growth needs, we were able to shape a more personalised, supportive, and outcome-driven journey.
To drive long-term retention, we integrated thoughtful gamification elements, including streaks, progress nudges, reflection prompts, and achievement milestones. These systems were intentionally designed to reinforce positive behaviours, encourage accountability, and strengthen the overall mentorship relationship.
