Despite continuous federal and state initiatives to improve road safety through regulations and training programs, Nigeria still records an alarmingly high rate of commercial vehicle accidents. In 2023 alone, the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) reported 31,874 injuries and 5,081 deaths from road traffic crashes nationwide. These incidents persist due to systemic challenges such as inadequate driver training, ingrained risky driving habits, low safety awareness, and poor road infrastructure that reveals significant gaps in how commercial drivers are prepared and supported.

PROCESS & STRATEGY
Where We Started
Although my primary task was to redesign the website, I began by stepping back from the UI and immersing myself in the broader ecosystem. I conducted a deep dive into the logistics and mobility landscape, examining the daily pain points of fleet operators, the driver-training pipeline, state and federal safety regulations, and the distinct needs of each audience segment. This foundation ensured that every design decision was grounded in real operational challenges.
Since the website would serve as the primary entry point for potential customers and partners, I focused on crafting a narrative that clearly communicates the platform’s value. The structure, messaging, and visual hierarchy were intentionally designed to address the exact pain points these stakeholders struggle with and position the product as a credible, solution-driven alternative.
Beyond UI aesthetics, I developed a content framework that strengthens clarity, trust, and discoverability. Every element, from copywriting and imagery to illustrations and information architecture, was aligned to improve comprehension while also supporting long-term SEO performance.
I intentionally scoped the initial release to what would bring the most clarity and impact because the product is still early-stage. However, I also mapped out features planned for Version 2, including richer resources such as real case studies, demo videos, deeper documentation, and expanded social proof to further build trust and drive conversions.
However, considering it’s a new product in the early stage, there are other elements I could not include in the first and current version which is expected in version 2 such as access to resources like real case studies, demo videos, more social proof, etc.
